Cloud With Most Free Storage – There are many free cloud storage providers out there, but they are all different. They differ from each other in terms of features, functionality and free space they offer, so it’s hard to decide which one is best for you.
In this post, we look at ten of the best free cloud storage providers that offer the most storage space and the best features at no cost. Please note that this list contains only reputable and well-known companies that we are willing to recommend. Lesser known providers may offer more but may not be as reliable or trustworthy. It’s also not a good idea to give your files to unknown companies!

Best Free Cloud Storage Services For Backup In 2022
The concept of cloud storage is easy to understand. The cloud is a database for remote storage. It allows you to store your pictures, videos, documents and other files. All you need is your account login information and an internet connection to access your files.
Why not keep everything on my computer or external hard drive instead? The first reason is convenience. Keeping files on your computer means you can only access them from that particular computer. Cloud files can be accessed from any computer, smartphone or tablet.
Another reason is that your files are more secure in the cloud than on your computer. Your computer can be damaged, lost, or stolen. You can say goodbye to all those critical work files, vacation photos, and movie collections if that happens. The cloud also makes it easy to share data with others. Not to mention cloud backups are much more convenient when you switch to a new device. You can login to your account and download everything!
As with anything that offers so many benefits, there are some risks to be aware of. The main disadvantage is that your files are slightly more accessible to intruders. Anyone with your login and password will be able to access your files. Not to mention that there is always the risk of being hacked. Additionally, an internet connection is required, so it’s not always a good idea to store everything in the cloud if you don’t have a reliable connection.
Samsung Cloud Storage: Everything You Need To Know About It
Editor’s note: We’ll update this post with new providers as they launch or when existing ones make changes to their free plans.
Degoo is way ahead of the competition, offering a whopping 100GB of free cloud storage. However, the service has several limitations. The biggest one is that you can only upload files from five devices. However, there is no such limit to viewing or downloading files — you can do so on as many devices as you like.
The service is ad-supported and you must log in at least once every 365 days to ensure your account remains active. With that in mind, Degoo isn’t the most convenient cloud service on this list, but it does offer plenty of free cloud storage.
Co-founded by the controversial Kim Dotcom, Mega is second on this list offering 20GB of free storage. Plus, you can get extra free cloud storage by completing simple achievements. This includes installing the desktop app, downloading the mobile app, and checking your phone via SMS. These get you 5GB each. You can also invite friends and get 5 GB per referral.
Pcloud Lifetime Deal, Pricing & Alternatives 2022
Mega doesn’t technically have a size limit on the files you upload, but it does have a pretty strict bandwidth limit; they call it the transfer quota. The exact amount of data you can transfer depends on factors such as time of day, country and current congestion levels. All this means is that the upload will be paused and resumed later.
I recommend this cloud service to most people, provided they don’t need more than 15GB of storage. It’s extremely easy to use, available on all major platforms, and ad-free. Note that 15 GB of storage space is shared between all Google services, including Drive, Gmail, and Photos.
Google Drive is well integrated with Gmail, allowing you to quickly save email attachments to Drive. The service also lets you share files with ease and lets you back up your devices. This is by far my favorite cloud storage service, and it’s easy to upgrade with a relatively inexpensive Google One subscription.
Box is a popular and well-known cloud storage provider. Its 10GB of free storage is generous, though not market-leading. The only real downside is that there is a 250MB file size limit for uploads.
Free Cloud Storage
The service offers standard features that you get with most other providers. You can create folders to organize your files, share files with just a few clicks, and access your files from different platforms, among other things.
This provider isn’t as popular as Google Drive or Box, but it’s still great. You get 10GB of cloud storage for free, and there’s no file size limit for uploads.
PCloud is packed with tons of great features. You can easily share files, access your files from multiple devices on different platforms, and recover and access older versions of your account. The service even has built-in video and audio players. If you need more storage, you can opt for a monthly plan or a one-time “lifetime” fee.
Icedrive is a relatively new player on the market — it launched in January 2019. You get 10GB of free storage and 3GB of daily bandwidth, limiting the size of files you can upload.
How To Avoid Paying Apple For Extra Icloud Storage
What makes Icedrive special is mainly its ease of use. The company offers software that makes its services feel like an attached hard drive. This makes it easier to use. There are sharing and collaboration capabilities, as well as apps for all major platforms.
MediaFire lets you store and share files with ease, and free users get 10GB of free storage. Individual files are limited to a maximum of 20 GB per upload, which is outstanding compared to other free cloud storage platforms.
The service allows you to upload multiple files simultaneously and can be used on a variety of platforms, including Windows, Android, and iOS. It supports every major file out there, allowing you to upload images, videos, documents and more. Unfortunately, the free service is supported by ads, which can quickly become annoying. Still, you get something for no money!
This free cloud storage service mainly focuses on media files (images, videos…), although you can also store documents and other files. Users praise the service for its fast upload speeds and a decent amount of free storage space of 10 GB.
The Most Trusted, Best Protected Cloud Storage
There is a 5GB file size limit for uploads, which is quite generous. Apps are available for PC/Mac, Android and iOS, so you can upload and access files regardless of the device you’re using.
Syncplicity offers all the basic features like sorting files by folders, sharing files with others and even tagging them. You get 10 GB of space for your pictures, videos, documents and other files.
The service is available on all major platforms and offers paid plans for those looking for additional storage space. A significant advantage of Syncplicity is that there is no file size limit.
The last free cloud storage service on this list is Microsoft’s OneDrive, which offers the least space at just 5GB. But you can use it as part of your Microsoft account. Chances are you have one, so you don’t need to sign up for the service separately.
What Is Cloud Identity?
In addition to all the basic features you’d expect from a service like this, OneDrive also comes with a personal vault that adds a layer of security for those extra sensitive documents. But on free accounts you can only store up to three files in it. There is also a very generous file size limit of 250 GB.
There’s a reason a few big names are missing from the list above. Apple’s iCloud service only offers 5GB of data, just like Microsoft’s OneDrive, but unlike OneDrive, iCloud is primarily aimed at those who own an Apple device. If you sign up for the service from a computer, you only get one GB of storage instead of five. Overall, though, it’s a great service if you’re an Apple user and we have no problem recommending it, but be aware of the storage limit. If you need more space, opt for one of the providers listed in this post.
Dropbox is another great service we recommend, although it didn’t make our list because it only offers 2GB of free cloud storage. It’s not much, but if it’s enough for you, we’re sure you’ll be happy with the service.
Amazon Drive is also a great service, offering its users 5 GB of free storage space. It’s on par with OneDrive, but we recommend Microsoft’s solution over Amazon’s because it has more features and is easier to use. Still, it’s a great service if you like the Amazon ecosystem.
Telegram Cloud Storage Review (2022)
More free storage is always better, but it’s not the only thing you should focus on. For example, while Degoo offers a maximum of 100GB of free storage, I wouldn’t recommend it to users
